Uncivilized II: Swimming with the fishes
19th of august 1568, it’s been four days since you went to Genevis. After you, Abigail and Henry left, a group of raiders stumbled upon the deserted massacred town. They couldn’t understand why someone would slaughter the whole town, but leave all the goods and supplies behind. But what do they care, lucky them, right. A bunch of free stuff without even raising a hand. Furthermore, as there were no remaining witnesses to your Genevis massacre, it just looks like the town got slaughtered and raided by a gang, removing any suspicion of you and Winddale.
But with Genevis dead, Bourbourg suffered quite a economic hit. As Genevis produced the majority of the wheat in Bourbourg, stock plummeted. And since Winddale is the only other town in Bourbourg that produces wheat, it’s up to your town to pick up the slack. Your town panics. It only produces a small surpluss, not nearly enough to supply the entirety of Bourbourg, let alone have enough for export.
Over at Richport, they’re getting very agitated. Being the only coastal town in Bourbourg, they’re responsible for the majority of the import and export. Due to the severe shortage of wheat, bread and other grain products, fails their whole trading and distribution system. They can’t deliver on trade contracts and lose a lot of business and more importantly, money. They blame everything on Winddale. They believe your town has to be prepared for these kinds of events. If Winddale can’t provide Richport with the sufficient amount of goods, they will set an embargo and halt all supply routes to and from Winddale. If that happens, Winddale will face severe financial collaps in the next couple of weeks.
You cannot let this happen. You did this once before and you’ll do it once again. You get your crew together, barge into Richport and let everyone know who’s got the real short end of the stick.
