The Partridge LC is a more luxurious variation of the Partridge MPV.
Within its Core 3 configuration, the ship sports everything you need to comfortably explore your solar system.
Because of the lack of an actual ammo box, I opted for a 12 kL ammo bay in addition to the main cargo of 14 kL.
Since the Partridge LC isn’t a fighter, you’ll most likely find more use for the remaining capacity as additional standard cargo room.
Exchange the controller where you see fit.
The form factor allows you – like in the Partridge MPV – to access most of the POI’s hangars whitout any hassle and makes flyling into your own hangars as easy and stress free as it can get regarding the actual size of the vessel.
Regarding the progress / game mechanics, the LC is more expensive than the MPV to build, so it is widening the gap between your first, smaller SV and this variation of the Partridge.
Upgrading
You might want to add another cargo system in the rear area to gain more capacity. A possible spot is marked; you have to remove the warp/shield protectors first, though.
I recommend to exchange the groups of three small ion jet thrusters with a medium ion jet thruster per group as soon as you have access to Erestrum and Zascosium. As soon as you have the CPU points, you might want to exchange the medium side thrusters with large ones. The spots are marked.
You can upgrade to Core 6 as designed, that will give you some extra points for eg. 5 cannons or tools, positioned below the cockpit, or more turrets.
Upgrade you shield and jump drive isn’t a bad idea either.
