Description:

Adds the Ice Kingdom from Adventure Time under the rule of the Ice King.

Requires Gods and Kings. There will not be a Vanilla version.

Leader: Ice King (Simon Petrikov)

UA: Curse of the Ice Crown: Relationships with City States last half as long, but yield twice as much Culture, Faith and Food. Farms can be built in Tundra. Treat Snow and Ice like Grassland and Ocean respectively.*

UU: Ice-o-pede: Replaces the Landship. Does not require oil and recieves a 25% Combat Bonus in Snow and Tundra. It can be built after discovering Refrigeration allowing you to keep your focus on the top of the Tech Tree.

UB: Fan Fiction Workshop: Replaces the Colosseum. Generates half the Happiness, but it produces +2 Culture (doubled after discovering the Printing Press). It is available earlier (at Writing) and costs -33% less to build.

* They have the same yield and the same improvements can be built on them. Units can move through Ice.

The Ice King is more concerned with desperately making friends and chasing his various artistic endeavors than winning the game. He builds tall and pursues both Cultural and Diplomatic victories though the instability of his relationships usually push him towards the former.

I, of course, do not own Adventure Time. Adventure Time is the property of Pendleton Ward and Cartoon Network. Civilopedia entries are partly based on information from adventuretime.wikia.com. Art assets in this mod are taken from screenshots and promotional images for the series and are the property of their respective artists.

This is a rather experimental build at the moment so please report any oddities with Arctic settlements beyond the following:
-Because the art defines for Farms and Trading Posts don’t seem to function on irregular territory I’ve used the graphics for Ruins and the Customs House for these improvements respectively.
-At the moment only Combat units can travel through Ice.
-Hills in snow also give food rather than production since snow was never meant to be worked
-When building farms on Snow or Tundra tiles with access to fress water you’ll have the redundant option to build either a snow farm or regular farm.

Critical feedback and balance concerns are always welcome. Note that updates will break saved games so you should finish any ongoing games before updating to a new version. Enjoy.
