Reskin for DeI – Armenian Nakharar
Original Del reskin for Armenia is done by Big Chungus (Agrez), so the credit goes to him, I only changed the helmets for historical accuracy and better looks, and recolored the cloaks. The previous look of the Armenian nobility (Nakharar) was trying too hard to show the influence of Greek/Balkan culture inside Armenia. The Nakharar looked exactly like other Greeks factions, and I simply did not agree with that look. Armenia was historically known to extensively use conical helmets. The Nakharar infantry had their Thracian/Phrygian caps removed, and various conical helmets added, however Greek Boeotian helmets remained for the Nakharar unit because they match and don’t look out of place. The Nakharar cavalry had the purple and Boeotian helmet removed, however, the Thracian/Phrygian helmets remained in the unit to allude that Greek influence was strong within the ranks of noble cavalry. Now with the Noble Cataphracts, there is no presence of Greek influence, these men would have numbered a few hundred or less, and would have been the best of the best, in terms of armor, weapons, and status, and they would have served as personal bodyguards to the Armenian King or (Arka) during campaigns. I think this is a much more accurate depiction of the Armenian nobility.
Installation – Just subscribe to the mod, you don’t need to do anything else. This is only for Del, I am not sure if it would work for normal Rome 2.
Future Updates – I will keep the mod up to date.
