Marx and Engels Monument Budapest
I proudly present my take on very interesting monument from Budapest.
Marx and Engels (Marx és Engels) statue was a work of an artist Segesdi György who pioneered abstract public art in Hungary during the 60’s and 70’s. This is his most remembered art piece. It was originaly placed on a V. ker. Jászai Mari square in front of main HQ of a communist party. After the fall of socialism it was moved to the Memento Park (Hungarian: Szoborpark) which contains many other monuments.
