RE2-Kaneda Class Destroyer
WARNING! This ship is built for the Reforged Eden 2 scenario it will not work in any other scenario without significant modification.
The Kaneda class Destroyer is inspired by the Akira class starship form Star Trek.
Of course much smaller than an Akira class, it is designed to pack just as much of a punch. Not to mention take a serious beating in return.
This Core 11 destroyer is armed with Light, Medium and Heavy plasma cannons and its primary function is to destroy orbital and space bound threats.
Heavy frontal armour means it can tank incoming damage much longer than the enemy can.
The plasma cannons have blast damage but no shield pen so you need to get the enemy shields down first then just watch them work as they rip hole after hole into whatever you are fighting.
Use the manual fire heavy plasmas to take down turrets/thrusters whatever you need to do. Theres also a bunch of gats to deal with drones.
Bit of CPU left over so you can swap the weapons out to whatever your preferred configuration is.
About 65k shields, its not enough to shield tank anything but good enough to prevent dmg from weaklings so you’re not repairing after every fight.
Took it against an Imerat (one tier below a Tovera) swiss cheesed the thing but took a lot of dmg in return the hull held though, no serious dmg just armour damage. pretty cheap repair at station services. Its the ammo cost that will get ya!
