Falcon II RE2 Core-9 Upgrade-able Nomadic Combat CV
This is a Core-9 version of the Falcon II, for folks looking to get into it earlier than Core-11. Other than a few downgrades and removed parts, it’s exactly the same ship.
The Falcon II is an upgrade-able mid-to-late game multi-purpose CV for Reforged Eden 2, with a higher emphasis on combat capabilities than the utility of its predecessor. Combat is a breeze in this CV, easily dispatching many Zirax or Drone encounters before making any upgrades. The Core-9 version can easily handle Legacy Infectors, whereas Decimators and Devastators will require a fair bit of shield recharging to take down if you don’t want any block damage.
It comes stock with Quantum Wifi, T3 Radar, full Plasma Turbines and Advanced Warp Drive, but removing the deconstructor & teleporter for more thrust to handle the high armor load. It also has the typical full medical, universal constructor, repair/weapon/armor stations, ship upgrade and science stations, and millions of cargo space.
The Falcon II has a full array of spaced, lag-shot proof & heavily armored decoys in the front for when your shields run out, and a forward core to keep the majority of your ship safe if things go sideways located just below the captain’s chair.
The recommended placements for upgrades, plus a toggleable upgrade guide, can be found within the ship by activating the LCDs. You are welcome to use the space however you prefer, of course.
The Core-9 version comes stock with 6 Heavy Plasmas and 4 Light Gatling turrets, which will handle everything up to an Imerat. If you’re looking for more firepower in a Core-9 setting, you could downgrade the plasma thrusters to add more weapons.
Its stock Pitch/Roll/Yaw are 15-28, though when upgraded you’ll reach the mid 20-40’s for those looking for a bit higher maneuverability than you’d usually find on a fully armored combat CV.
