Anglara joins the Rivals of Aether in a bid to return a sacred relic she was once tasked to protect. Her all around abilities matched with her Lantern Barrier make her a force to be reckoned with. Due to her quick speed and easy to combo attacks, she can create unfavorable situations for her opponent with clever use of her specials.


DOWN SPECIAL
Lantern Barrier
The core of the special interactions that Anglara has. This barrier only last for a moment, but can be used to extend your combos, guard the edge of a stage, trap your opponent and more! Any enemy hit into the barrier will get rebounded, as if they were being juggled. Breaking Lantern Barrier with Lantern Ascent or Lantern Dive will take you out of pratfall, giving you the ability to extend your recovery or follow up.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL
Lantern Bolt
A hard light projection that deals a fair amount of damage and knockback. If a Lantern Bolt passed by a Lantern Barrier, it will consume it, supercharging the bolt. This slow version of the bolt deals more damage and has higher knockback!



FORWARD SPECIAL
Lantern Dive
Using the power of the lantern to boost her forward momentum, she charges forward, slamming into the enemy. When hitting an opponent you can press the special button once again to perform a quick followup attack! This move breaks the Lantern Barrier, and can be used to surprise the opponent from behind it. There are many uses for this move, you can jump cancel on hit to continue performing air attacks or followup with an up strong attack. If you break Lantern Barrier with this move, you can cancel into a special move called Lantern Roller by pressing the special button again, without needing to hit anyone!

UP SPECIAL
Lantern Ascent
Swinging the lantern as an extension of her arm, Anglara uppercuts an enemy at close range dealing massive knockback. This move can catch a descending opponent off guard. Like the Lantern Dive, this move functions the same when encountering the Lantern Barrier, allowing you to cancel into another Lantern Ascent once a Lantern Barrier is broken, or immediately into a Lantern Roller if special is pressed right after breaking.

The first place of interest that Anglara has found is a shipwrecked graveyard, littered with Fire Empire ships, this mysterious stage has an ominous atmosphere. What could have possibly happened here?
