NOS / Nitrous Oxide System [ Only SP ]
Adds NOS to the game. What is NOS, you ask? NOS stands for; "Nitrous Oxide System". And it’s the system used by racers and speed enthusiasts in order to give them a massive speed boost for a short time.
Not that it’s relevant for the purposes of this mod, but in a nutshell, NOS is; "a process by which nitrous oxide is utilized within a car to facilitate more oxygen entering the cylinder." If you’ve ever seen "The Fast and the Furious", then you’ve seen NOS used before.
Once installed, activating the NOS will provide you with a massive speed boost for your vehicle… Be careful though.. without good brakes you may find yourself overwhelmed by how fast you end up going!
Yes, there are NOS options in the Sandbox settings, which include;
– Zombie knock back
– Zombie kill- NOS burn rate- Required Mechanic skill level to install/uninstall NOS tanks.
– Nitrous Bottle Spawns In Vehicle (%)
– Full Nitrous Bottle Capacity Chance (%) (Spawn In Vehicle)
Make certain you have a usable (not empty) Nitrous bottle in your primary inventory (not a backpack, or duffel bag, but your PRIMARY inventory), then right click on a vehicle and click; "Install Nitrous Bottle", and select the bottle you wish to install.[NOTE: DEFAULT SETTINGS REQUIRES MECHANICS: 4 IN ORDER TO DO THIS. HOWEVER, THIS CAN BE EDITED AT THE PLAYERS DISCRETION INSIDE OF THE SANDBOX SETTINGS.]
Nitrous bottles can be found in garages, Auto Shops, and Gas Stations. But remember, they are not guaranteed to spawn in these places. Additionally, another good place to look for Nitrous bottles is within other vehicles.
