Better Cards

Changes all the cards in the game to look nicer!

List of changes made to cards appearance when on the floor:

• Thicker outlines with "tears" to make them look aged (All)
• The outline is flipped horizontally (Reverse Tarot Card)
• Features an updated pattern (Tarot, Reverse Tarot, Playing, Wild, and Get out of Jail Free Card)
• Features tweaked pattern/coloring (Magic: The Gathering, Credit, and Card Against Humanity)
• Stood vertically instead of tilted to a side(All except Credit Card)
• Rests horizontally instead of being titled left (Credit Card)

List of changes made to the cards appearance while picked up/in the UI:

Tarot Cards

• Thicker outlines that differ from the on-ground sprite (All)
• Tweaked appearances & minor adjustments made (All)
• Certain tarot cards now share the same background color (Temperance & Judgement, The World, The High Priestess & The Hierophant, The Emperor, The Empress & The Magician)

Reverse Tarot Cards

• Same appearance as the normal Tarot Cards except flipped 180 degrees

Playing Cards

• Thicker outlines that differ from the on-ground sprite (All)
• Adjustments to the shape of the cards suit symbol (Hearts, Diamonds, and Spades)
• Repositioning of where the symbol lies on the card (Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, and Clubs)
• Slightly lighter colored pixels added for extra detailing (All)

Misc. Cards

• Thicker outlines that differ from the on-ground sprite (All)
• Added a lighter blue around the edges as seen on the original on-ground cart sprite (Holy Card)
• Adjustment to the "text" coloring to be lighter (Huge Growth, Ancient Recall, Era Walk, and Chaos Card)

It hasn’t been tested if this mod would work in Repentance+, but it does has built in stuff that should make it compatible with the mods Visible Cards on the Floor and External Item Descriptions. Please keep in mind this is only partially tested as of now!

It will also most likely not fully work with another mod that changes the texture of pills, as they share a texture file called "ui_cardspills" for some of their ui elements. However, if you use this mod with Tasty Looking Pills there is a patch for it that can be found here (If not, a separate mod that stitches the textures of both together would need to be made).
