Blackouts
– Adds a small chance for power outages to occur randomly at any time of day, and for the power to come back on after a while. Customizable in sandbox settings.
– Adds a 1 point cost trait that spawns you with a hand torch.
– The permanent shutoff date still happens, based on the random shutoff date from vanilla, but it can be overridden with my mod in sandbox settings.
– Now compatible with multiplayer!

You can trigger Blackout events using Lua mods or the debug console. The following commands are used to trigger events; hopefully their names are self-explanatory:

Though we have gone to significant lengths to make this mod play nicely with countless other mods, we cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that our mod will never have a conflict of interest with other mods that rely on adjustments to the hydro power state of the map or ElecShutModifier, because these are the fundamental variables of most power grid management in Zomboid as far as we can tell. Our mod does seem to be playing nicely with Restore Utilities according to recent reports, but please reach out to us on Discord if you have any issues, and we will attempt to help as soon as possible.
