"MT28 assault tank: a visit by general anier and fieldmarshal ignien of the bakarian army commences, they had heard rumours of a new heavy tank design that the armoured force of lund was working on, they wished to hear about it, its features and current progression. it was to be a momentarily utilized vehicle, while the bakarian army develops a such design of their own. in the words of the head engineers of the project taking place in lund, it was "thoroughly tested" however complained, simply nobody in lund was particularly interested in the project. So it was suggested, if bakaria purchased multiple pieces, it was to be an excuse to open up the production taps, the bakarians agreeing, an initial purchase of 1600 pieces underway. general anier strongly believed the frontline troops must receive the mt28 in their hands hastily, and was frustrated by the refusal of the other command staff to order the product in higher number. he thus believed, the bakarians could be the source of the vehicle. if only the design was to be purchased, the bakarian factories could commence with the production of this new vehicle. thus the plan was underway, and the first mt28s reached the frontline troops a mere month later. field reports spoke of impenetrable armour, at the cost of dire firepower and an underpowered engine prone to breaking down. an effective armour thickness of 134,2 mm frontally, and a 2 ton cast turret made it an excellent heavy vehicle, though its short 37mm cannon only firing HE was of little effect."
