What is this?

My take on buffing Bretonnian troops, particularly melee infantry.

What’s the idea?

Similar to how each vanilla Armoury adds +2 armour to all units factionwide, my mod adds unit buffs through buildings.

Great/Meh so what are the buffs?
—————–
Barracks (tier 4): melee infantry attack and defence skills +1
The barracks are also boot camps. The higher the tier, the better the training.
Stables (tier 5): melee cavalry attack and defence skills +1
Practice jousts are held here every other Tuesday.
Farms (tier 3): cavalry fatigue resistance 1%
More farms mean improved horse breeding.
Cathedral (tier 5): infantry leadership +1 and cavalry leadership +1
People can be inspired by faith.
Apothecary (tier 3): infantry leadership +1 / melee infantry attack skill +1
If peasants are cared for they get motivated and fight better.
Smithy (tier 2): melee infantry weapon strength +1%
Armoury (tier 4): melee infantry and cavalry weapon strength +2%
Peasants get access to weapons left over after the knights have been outfitted.
Siege Workshop (tier 5): +2% ammunition and +2% missile damage for archers and horse archers
Better carpentry means straighter arrow shafts and more ammo.
Town and city walls, top tier: melee infantry +1 defence skill
Town defence drills toughen up recruits.

The buffs stack, the more buildings you have the stronger your units will become.

This mod does not change any tables. All effects are additions and layered on top of the base game, so it *should* work with everything unless they change these particular effects on these particular buildings, and even then it shouldn’t crash.
I’ve tested it with custom unit mods, such as the excellent Rygar’s Core Infantry for Bretonnia and it works like a charm.

Sorry, I have very limited time, so most likely I won’t. A submod shouldn’t even be necessary unless it’s about balancing.
