Operation Tremor [SP]
A few weeks ago, a regiment of CSAT paratroopers and a large number of cargo aircraft arrived at the Sefrou-Ramal airbase. Combined with that, (infrequent) earthquakes have started to hit the region, which is rather uncharacteristic for the area as a whole. At the same time, many construction projects began to pop out all over the desert. Most of them are simple fuel depots or outposts in remote areas, but one of those projects looks different. Combined with tremors growing more frequent, analysts believe that CSAT is currently testing the so-called ‘East Wind Device’ somewhere in the region.
Your mission is to infiltrate remote CSAT/SFIA-held territory and find out what they are building at the construction site, which Headquarters believes will become a major testing site for the ‘East Wind Device’.
For that, you have to clear out an outpost roughly a kilometer north of the site. This needs to be done so that the enemies present at the base won’t be a problem later in the mission. Optionally, you can also disable enemy communications at this stage.
After you have taken out all personnel at the outpost, you have to proceed to the construction site. There, you first have to secure the site and then look around for any blueprints, data sets, or the device itself. After you have found any intel, a friendly HELO will pick you up and bring you back to base.
