Description:

In honor of the imminent release of Imperator: Rome and in honor of April 21, the day Rome was founded, I upload a new mod to Crusader Kings 2, allowing you to declare the restoration of the Roman Republic while playing any Italian merchant republic.

To proclaim Roman Republic you need:
– Be a merchant republic
– Complite controls the duchy of Latium, Ferrara, Ancona, Spoleto, Tuscany, Pisa, Capua, Benevento, Salerno, Calabria, Apulia and Abruzzo.
– Have 1000 gold
– Be Christian or Hellenic pagan
– Be Italian or Greek culture

For the Roman Republic, most features are available from the dlc "Legacy of Rome" and "Holy Fury", such as the "Roman Renaissance" or "Imperial reqonquest" casus belli.

In the future I plan to add some additional features, such as the possibility of restoring the Roman legions, and a special event to proclaim the Roman Empire and attempts to usurp power with the civil war and the transition from a republican form of government to an imperial one.
