[Optional Patch] BMCE Addon – Hazardous Environment Combat Unit Remastered decal crash fix
IMPORTANT: Requires BMCE Addon – Hazardous Environment Combat Unit Remastered to be installed, this only includes patched material files!
After getting reports of HECU remastered mod crashing the game in specific sections because of game attempting to render decals on these high quality models I decided to fix it by disabling decals on HECUs. This is only way for me to fix them. However because I know there are people who would rather have the game crash couple times instead of disabling decal rendering on HECU, I decided to release this as optional patch.
How to install:
– Make sure you have installed BMCE Addon Hazardous Environment Combat Unit Remastered correctly first
– Subcribe to this mod
– Start the game once so that it can download the files
– Close the game and proceed to the next step.
– Go to steamappsworkshopcontent3628902657629386
– Copy all contents of that folder to steamapps/common/Black Mesa/bms/custom
– It should ask you to replace some content. If it does, allow it, if it doesnt make sure you installed all the previously mentioned required mods correctly
