Whomp’s Fortress
This level is a recreation of Whomp’s Fortress from Super Mario 64, featuring most of the same obstacle and enemies and 6 different ways to end the game based on the six different missions from Whomp’s Fortress via the collection of Power Stars.

*I don’t know if anyone is going to try to speedrun this level, but if you do, send me a screenshot or video recording of your time and I’ll put it onto this list. There is an NPC out of bounds that dies when the level starts so that the timer begins as soon as the level starts.

Mission Guide
★ Chip Off Whomp’s Block
This Power Star will appear after defeating King Whomp.
★ To the Top of the Fortress
This Power Star is located at the top of the Tower. Just scale the level to reach it.
★ Shoot into the Wild Blue
This Power Star is located on a platform with a pole on it. Normally, you would be able to use the cannon to reach this star, but because there are no canons that you can fire yourself out of in PTTR, you will have to drop have to drop onto it from a the platform directly above it.
★ Red Coins on the Floating Isle
This Power Star is located near the beginning of the stage and is trapped inside of a translucent prism. Finding and pressing 8 red buttons (which are meant to mimic red coins) will release the Power Star, allowing you to end the level at its location. The buttons are located in the same places you would find the SM64.
★ Fall onto the Caged Island
This Power Star is located inside a caged platform which is initially inaccessible. Fortunately, there is a helpful owl roosting on top of the tree at the beginning of the stage. Normally, you would be able to reach him by climbing up the tree, but you can’t climb trees in PTTR, so you will have to jump on top of it from a higher platform. Interacting with him will waken him and give you entryway to the caged stars.
★ Blast Away the Wall
This mission is perhaps the most unorthodox compared to its original mission. First, you must break down a wall on the side of the Tower, which in SM64 conceals a 1-up mushroom, but in my iteration of Whomp’s Fortress conceals a walled-up Golder Bob-Omb Buddy. Interacting with him will bring up a speech bubble that addresses you to meet him at the site of the canon. After doing so, interacting with him again will make a Power Star appear in a a location adjacent to its location in SM64.
