Description:

This aircraft is the Convair CV-990 Coronado made by Convair – this is one of the fastest subsonic airliners ever.
This aircrafts sell-rate was poor when compared with its 2 early jet age rivals – the DC-8 and 707.
Designed at the request of A’A (American Airlines) this airliner was designed for speed. Although it was plagued with early issues it lived up to what it was made for and operated civilian transport up until 1987 when all civillian Convair 990’s were retired. This was not the end for it though – it operated for another 7 years until 1994 with NASA.
The aircraft was relatively safe although had a few crashes in its lifespan. The most notable of which are:
Swissair 330, The Nantes Mid Air Collision, Spantax 275 (the worst of CV-990) and the Sunnyville Mid Air Collision.

btw this is my first public aircraft so it may have some imperfections – just leave them in the comments, i can fix some

The fuselage and wings are a heavily, HEAVILY modified Boeing 737-400 from Vince2k09
