Copper Republic Plague Doctor
The Plague is made out of elite, genetically modified soldiers called Plague Doctors. They are capable of fixing breached blood veins very quickly, making them unable to bleed. They don’t need nearly as much oxygen as normal Mangalorians, as they need only about 20% of the regular amount of oxygen, however they can still breathe in a normal atmosphere. They possess strong regeneration, making them much more durable than regular soldiers. One of the most notable abilities of Plague Doctors is their improved reflex and agility, making them able to easily dodge melee attacks. They have a hidden “sixth sense”, which is detecting incoming danger like an attack from behind. Even with many bullet wounds and other damage, Plague Doctors are capable of combat, as they are extremely resistant to pain and shock. Plague Doctors are experienced in chemistry and biology, being the reason why they primarily use chemical weapons like Mallitite tipped bullets and knifes. They themselves are fully immune to Mallitite and diseases. They are most often older than 30 years old and have an officer rank. Plague Doctors have many roles, they are great at tackling infected or biologically enhanced enemies. During an epidemic they help with working on a cure to the disease. If they find it, they are commissioned to treat infected citizens to cure them.
