Improved Orders Control
Improved Orders Control changes parts of the galaxy map interface and some command queue behavior to better build and control lists of commands for AI-controlled, captained ships. Main changes:
– Adding commands to the queue is the default when the current queue has not finished all its commands. No need to hold down shift anymore.
– Commands added to the queue are added in a paused state. Newly added commands will not execute until the new Start Commands button is pushed. No prematurely starting commands by accidentally releasing shift.
– A running, started set of commands may be paused with the use of a new Pause Commands button.
– Taking over piloting a ship no longer instantly clears the ships queued commands. Any running commands are paused.
– Commands may be queued to a piloted ship again!
– When exiting a ship, queued commands will not auto-start. They must be explicitly started after exiting the ship.
– Changing sectors in a ship while piloting it will clear any commands.
– A "Skip" command can be used to advance to the next command. Movement commands like a Jump or Gate command cannot be skipped.
– A new "Go Back" command can be used to reverse back to the previous command. It cannot be used to go back to movement commands like a Jump or Gate commands. It also favors following a loop and will go back around loop commands.
– It is no longer required for orders to be paused to use the "Skip" command.
Additionally, the coloration of queued commands on the galaxy map have an expanded color code to help differentiate the paused or runnable state of commands.
A Chinese translation is now included thanks to Maxadam.
Dependencies:
Improved Orders Control depends on the mod Craft Orders Lib – Mad edition. It will not work without this additional mod.
