Gorre & Daphetid 2-6-6-2 #38
By far the largest class of locomotives on the G&D, the railroad’s three 2-6-6-2 articulateds were still fairly small compared to their brethren on other north american railroads. These locomotives were equipped with booster trucks to enhance their pulling power even further, and typically operated in helper service to push trains up and over Scalp Mountain. Though there were three 2-6-6-2s on the real G&D we’ve chosen #38 as the representative of the class here in Rolling Line.
This livery is a heavily modified version of CygnusOX’s USRA packs by me. The tender is a model by Calne. Both were used with their owners permission.
