Tigermoth Airship
The Tigermoth was an airship that appears regularly in the Ghibli movie, Laputa: Castle in the Sky. It appears to be a plane/airship hybrid, with a gas filled pocket mounted on top, and wings with forward facing engines. The Tigermoth is never shown to stop or land, suggesting that it must always be moving forward to stay in the air. The Tigermoth carries multiple Flapters, small winged vehicles that carry two people each. The Tigermoth is manned by Dola and her seven sons, who play a major role in the movie
