Italia Invictus II ~ The End of an Era
It is now the year 1982, and it has been several years since WW3 has ended. Now, the French, Austrian, and Polish governments rule throughout Europe, demolishing the long standing reign of the Italian menace. Also, with a Russia divided on itself, it seems as though the new great powers will have a great time running Europe. But also with that same destabilized issue in Russia, only time will tell if an even worse threat will arise from the east.

Part II Lore:
1968 – 1975 (African Revolution) | This event started when a prominent Egyptian-Italian general was able to galvanize the people of Egypt in a nationalist uprising to get rid of the corrupt Italian officials running the country. Then, other lands such as Madagascar and Israel had similar uprisings with generals proclaiming themselves kings of these new independent lands. in other lands, post revolutionary states weren’t as united. In West Africa especially, individual generals would create their own states for their people. Now with this divided empire, it would strain many resources of the Italians, and they were forced to give up on many lands in Africa and outside of Europe. This would lead to ambitions of nationalist uprisings in Europe.
1969 (End of Turkish and Mexican Civil War) | The Ottoman loyalists won the civil war, and the Mexican Republicans quelled the socialist uprising.
1971 (End of Chinese Civil War) | The republicans managed to win the civil war, taking the Ma Clique with it.
1971 – 1976 (Manchu-Japanese War) | After several disagreements regarding foreign policy to the newly established Chinese republic, the Manchus called for independence against Japanese overseers. This would lead to a prolonged war, where Manchus had the support of the Chinese while Japan had no allies. In the end, Korea would stay Japanese, while the old colony of Vladivostok was rid of Japanese pioneers and were replaced by an influx of new Chinese immigrants.
1972 (British Reunification and end of Indian Civil War) | The English government would unite with Scotland, creating the United Republic of Britain. In India, they had to make peace with the communists and Bangladeshis, creating a divided Indian subcontinent.
1973 (German Reunification) | The Kingdom of Prussia would manage to unite many German states, however Austria and Bavaria would refuse to join Prussia, instead uniting themselves into a South German Empire.
August 5th 1974 (French Annexation of Brittany) | On this day, even against Italian pressure, the French would annex the country of Brittanny.
July 5th 1975 (The Greek Crisis) | On this day, nationalists would manage to coup the Italian administrators, and would soon seen support from different nations while Italy would begin making a strategic network of its own allies.
February 12th 1976 (Declaration Day) | On this day, there would finally see action as Russian troops accidentally fired a missile at the Polish protectorate of Ukraine during a test. Now, the strategic network of alliances seen from the Greek Crisis would finally begin to mobilize, and war was now beginning.
1976-1981 (WWIII) | As war went on, two factions also sprung up. The Allies included France, Austria, Britain (1977), Poland, the US (1979), Serbia, Greece, China (1978), and Manchuria (1978). The Rome Pact would include Italy, Prussia, Spain, the Ottomans (1977), Russia, Japan (1978), Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania. It would all start with Italian advantage, but over time, they would weaken as they went on. Even with Russian and Prussian help, the Italians would still struggle against Polish and Austrian troops. In the east, Japan would once again declare war against Manchuria, bringing in China. In the end, Japanese troops were kicked back, and were forced to sign peace and they had to split korea sometime before the end of the European Theatre. In the end, the allied powers would reign supreme.
Present Day | Germany would be fully united under Austria, and France would expand it’s territories. Poland would stand as the democracy in eastern Europe, freeing much of their subject states by 1982, but even uniting with Lithuania. Russia would be harshly treated, and were forced to collapse a year before the war ended. Now, Russia is heavily divided, and is facing many issues concerning radical groups plaguing much of the former lands of Russia, like the Tsardom trying to reestablish monarchy and many communist and nationalist movements around. Turkey would barely be stripped of any territory, however the Ottoman sultanate was dissolved and a new republican government would replace it. Greece would expand greatly, and places like Croatia would see independence. In the end, the Italian world order was completely eradicated by 1982, and now their rule was just a distant memory of the past. Now, the US would be much more prosperous, taking in Belize and Puerto Rico as the 51st and 52nd state of America. For now, it seems the world is at peace, but radicalism is still around.
