Rocket Jumper
"Gravity! NOOOOO!" – Soldier after jumping too high
One of Soldier’s primary weapons from Team Fortress 2, this is a modified rocket launcher that shoots harmless rockets that allow you to rocket jump. This makes it perfect for getting around, and is especially useful for when you fell off your giant tower of nitroglycerin, or when you’ve got to do those timed missions.
Unfortunately though, as much as I would like to make it do so, you can’t do some of the more advanced rocket jumping techniques like pogoing, due to Teardown’s movement system.
Also, yes, I know that the normal rocket jumper doesn’t fire the projectiles from the center of the screen. This was done because otherwise the knockback would be janky and frustrating.
