Community Mod
This is the Necesse [unofficial] community mod! This mod adds multiple changes to the game, all of which were suggestions voted on by the Necesse community from the official Necesse discord channel.
While this mod adds multiple changes to the game, each component can be disabled/enabled via an easily edited text file. You can enable as many or as few of the changes as you wish. To learn how to disable certain changes, read the "How do I disable a mod?" section below.
Are you ever running around your settlement, only to accidentally collect the crops and/or wood your settlers are attempting to harvest? Well no more! This mod will add a 10 second cooldown to all items dropped by settlers while harvesting crops or chopping trees. The settlers can still pick the items up immediately, but the player will have to wait 10 seconds, allowing the settlers to do all the heavy lifting for you.
This mod adds lumberjacks as possible settlers! The lumberjack not only adds a new shirt and pair of pants to the game but is also able to chop wood faster than any other settler.
This mod adds chefs as possible settlers! The chef mod adds a chef hat and pants to the game. In addition, chefs can cook food faster than any other settler.
This mod adds timestamps to all chat messages.
This mod adds a vital charm to the game, which boosts the players stamina by 150%. It can be acquired as a drop item (30% chance) from the Ancient Vulture.
This mod adds a work talisman to the game. The work talisman is an item that can be equipped by settlers to massively increase their crafting speed (includes cooking). The drawback is that this item is almost entirely useless in combat. This item can be bought from any mage.
After subscribing to this mod, run Necesse at least once. This will generate a file in the root directory of where your game is installed (eg, D:SteamsteamappscommonNecessemodsEPOCModsCommunityModconfig.cfg). For any mod that you want to delete, simply set the value to false. As an example:
delayItemPickupsFromJobs=false
