Messerschmitt Bf 108 "Taifun"
The Bf 108 was a sport and touring aircraft built by the Messerschmitt company during the 1930s and 40s. The general technical structure is very similar to the later Bf 109 fighter and it can be seen as somewhat of an predecessor to the 109. Because of it’s lightness it was a very efficient plane, achieving prestige and high sales all over the world. 885 have been built, with additional variants being built and sold afterwards (for example the Nord 1002).
