Quick Turns
Intelligently toggles Quick Movement/Combat during AI turns, which results in significantly reduced time you will spend waiting and watching what the AI does instead of actually playing, especially in the late game. Only important AI unit actions, relevant to the player are shown. Replacement for playing with permanently enabled Quick Movement/Combat or in the Strategic 2D view when turn times slow down to a crawl. You can now enjoy the cool nuclear explosions and most* unit animations without major compromises!
*Some animations like air rebasing had to be disabled because they were a big reason why turns in late game were taking so long (they kept playing in the fog of war, for each unit one by one). The wasted time was just too big to justify showing the player moved air units, so I removed them.
Based on jcraft’s original Quick Movement mod (QMMOD).

— Known Bugs
– Enabling quick movement for the barbarians will disable animations of your trading routes.
– Disabling quick movement for the player will enable trading route animations for the next computer turn.
Not sure if those two above bugs can be fixed at all due to how the game’s engine works. If this bothers you, uncheck all Quick Movement settings.
