Description:

Have you ever wished that disabled collision items on a vehicle or human with armour actually worked, or that background props were able to stop bullets? This mod does just that!

How does it work?

EBC adds a new category, containing toggles for various bullet types (and other sort of projectiles).

Just click on these and spawn them to enable and disable collision! It will apply to items once they’re selected or activated again.

What is supported?
  • Beam Cannons
  • Blasters
  • Explosives (just adds disabled collision objects as new blocking layers)
  • Firearms
  • Machine Guns
  • Melee (only applies to certain Melee items like the energy sword, gravity hammer, and chainsaw)
  • Other disabled collision objects (makes certain projectiles work, but use with caution as this will break contraptions!!!)
  • Projectiles
  • Science (e.g. lasers, physics gun)
  • Throwers

These are all disabled by default and can be selectively enabled within the EBC category.

Any limitations / things that this breaks?

It should work with most modded weapons that use bullets and lasers, but any that use entirely new projectiles might not work.

Some projectiles (e.g. from the grenade launcher, crossbow, Excalibur) rely on collisions to work. You can enable the "objects" mode for this, but it will also effectively reverse disabled collision objects until you turn it off again! If you want to see contraptions implode, you will probably like this mode.
