The Vindicator represents Stellar Dynamics attempt to create a next generation capital vessel. One that takes an asymmetrical approach to traditional space combat. What they achieved is a vessel that combines blistering speed with an absolutely dizzying degree of manoeuvrability. The Vindicator can dance around its opponents, while picking them apart with surgical precision. To achieve such a high degree of performance it does away with conventional combat steel armour. Instead, the hull is built of light weight carbon composite wrapped around a hardened core. But make no mistake, its evasiveness is more effective than even the thickest of armoured hulls. Though, as a secondary line of defence it does include an advanced shield generator. Being a dedicated combat vessel, the Vindicator runs light on crew amenities. But, it does come equipped with a full medical suite and a medium sized hangar for a small support vessel.

Notes:
This CV was only designed for use in Reforged Eden. So, it includes blocks that aren’t compatible with Vanilla. There is space for quantum cores in the server room.
The Vindicator was designed to be flown using the “whirlybird” tactic that’s become popular as of late. It has been thoroughly tested on the Anvil server and proven it is more than a match for anything, including a Dreadnought prior to their buff. You may still be able to solo a Dreadnought with the Vindicator without need for quantum cores. But, that is a feat I haven’t the skill to pull off.

Updated ship to Reforged Eden 1.7. It now has a shield capacity of 42,725. All Plasma turrets have been replaced with positron turrets. The fixed rocket launchers have been removed. Added quick access hatch to cockpit.
