The Challenger is a dedicated combat vessel with a sleek hull and a narrow profile making it hard to hit in a fight. It fills the role of Corvette and is the smallest dedicated combat vessel in the Stellar Dynamics lineup. Don’t let its size fool you though! The Challenger comes equipped with an impressive array of fixed weapons and turrets. Coupled with a sturdy shield array, it is able to engage a wide variety of different threats. The ship’s hull features a hybrid design of combat and hardened steel used in conjunction with carbon composites which keep the space frame both durable and as lightweight as possible. A moderately sized cargo bay adds additional utility, including an armoury and a full medical suite for use in the event of boarding actions or ground operations. It is also large enough to accommodate small support craft such as a hoverbike.
