Covert Intrusion
This mod intends to strengthen the concealment mechanics, this way new game mechanics can be applied.
New features and upgrades:
- Silencer: New Weapon Upgrade. This item provides chance to remain concealed when the unit kill the target. silent shoot possibility depends on the item level (45, 55, 65) regarding if is Basic, Advanced or Superior.
- Smoke Granades / Bombs: Throw a smoke granade / bomb do not break concealment. All units on the effect area gains concealment. The concealment is lost after 2 turns. Also, all affected units lose 75% of sight radius 1 turn.
- Wraith Suit: When wraith ability is activated, soldier get concealment. It is lost when the ability ends (2 turns after activation). Ability charges was decreased to 1.
- Proximity mine: Throw a proximity mine do not break concealment (by default). Now, when a mine is detonated, the source unit has a 45% probability to remain in concealment.
Minor changes and gameplay details:
- Silencer upgrades can’t be equipped with Repeater upgrades.
- Kill a unit and remain in concealment will trigger the alarm on the enemies (In the same way that if the position were revealed).
- A silent kill, or undetected mine explosion, will show a message at the unit location reporting that the unit remains concealed.
- Armory panels now will show the silent kill chance, if the weapon have a silencer equipped.
