Description:

In 1.12.4 PDX added +5 and +10 Plague Resistance to Shy and Reclusive traits, which makes sence.
If you don’t play the game.
And if you don’t know what are you doing.
Introverted persons indeed should be more resillient to diseases, but guess what? Plague Resistance have nothing to do with it. It reduces the scale of plague on owned territory, reducing economical impact of plague and reduces the chance of disease at court.
So, does it make sence if courtiers of shy king contract diseases less? Does it make sence of all villages around castles dying slower just because their count don’t want to show up anywhere?
If the anwser is "no" for you, then you are sane person in the first place, and this mod is for you.
This mod removes "Plague Resistance" parameter from Shy and Reclusive traits, but reduces the chance of infection for ANYONE with this traits. Shy provides -5% and Reclusive provides -10% chance of being infected by plague, so expect every introvert on the map to live longer and happier, while everyone ill because of bloody poo-poo epidemy.
Now Shy and Reclusive traits give you REAL protection be you king or courtier, and no longer you will get macro-scale buffs out of nowhere, because the well-being of your lands is the matter of your work and decisions, not just the fact that you exist and exist being shy, like the PDX probably think.
FAQ:
1. Incompatibilities?
– Anything that overwrites Shy and Reclusive traits can bring Plague Resistance back. Anything that touches plagues can remove infection chance buff, for example Reasonable Epidemics will be overwrited and thus will be incompatible.
2. How i can see if i more resillient to diseases by being Shy? When i Enter Seclusion i can see i have -75% disease chance buff!
– Athletic, Sickly, inbred, Whole of Body and a bunch of other perks and traits also affect your infection chance, and it’s not mentioned ANYWHERE, so i think it’s fair not to mention unnecessary numbers.
