Tiyo Crimson
My first ever workshop fighter, learned from scratch and it was quite a grind lol.
Anyways, this character offers a simple and straightforward characteristic of having great grounded game with good aerials that links well with his grounded moves, on itself it doesn’t perform very well.
His grounded moves are quite fast, and powerful, and he can dish out heavy damage and pressure with his Tilts, his Strongs are powerful and can score KO reliably when confirming out of his other moves.
In the air there’s not much he can do as his aerials have rather short range and quick frame data but when challenging opponents in the air can be difficult due to the aforementioned range of his aerials, his air mobility is about average and his fast falling speed means he is not going to be juggling his opponents too much.
His recovery is quite linear, having great horizontal distance but okay vertically, he has a rather high wall jump so it can be utilized for aiding recovery.
Now that i got the brief overview out of the way its time for me to talk about his specials

Tiyo will start charging, when completed he will store the power for later use, if you input another Neutral Special with stored power he will unleash a powerful uppercut with armor that will take stocks very early, do mind the significant end lag of the move so dont miss it, the move is also weaker if used in the air, the charging can be canceled with parry or jump.

Tiyo performs a flying kick forward with his extending leg on fire, offers a good burst option and the soft armor on startup can help you power through weak attacks, its also great horizontal recovery option but he wont be able to use it again until he lands or wall jump.

Tiyo performs a series of flaming spin kicks into the air, it hits 6 times and the multihits drags your opponent with him, he gains partial invincibility on his lower half to lessen the risk of him getting edge guarded, directional input will change his trajectory and the finisher’s knockback angle with forward makes him drift further forward and makes the finisher’s angle more horizontal, while holding the directional input backward will make his drift slightly backward and change the finisher’s angle more vertical.

Tiyo takes a stance and anticipate an attack, if hit during this window he will retaliates with a counterattack, unlike traditional counters from Smash, Tiyo’s counter doesn’t scale with the attacker’s attack power and knockback, instead it scales with his current damage with the higher damage he has means the stronger the counter becomes, use it wisely.
