Ever been annoyed that your favourite Dwarven dungeon has spawned at the other end of the Serpentspine? Or hasn’t spawned at all? This is the mod for you.

This is a small Anbennar submod to remove the random element of spawning Dwarven Dungeons, so that all Dungeons will always be discovered and will always be found in specific locations.

The spawn locations are as follows:
Frogarsalforn = 4022 #Hazara Depths
Stunveigryôrth = 4060 #Kikkimig Outlet
Wytlramvar = 4080 #Deep One’s Cave
Dimlherd = 4099 #East Fissure
Grumhardhum = 4063 #Cartsfall
Leforn Vâmbrèthar = 2961 #Kekig’s Prototype
Rizvâmbrèthar = 4214 #Hehogrim’s Mausoleum
Ôfralglârf = 4108 #Misty Cavern
Yidablaerun = 4070 #Yidab’s Nest

These locations have been chosen by me based on the pre-existing random likelihoods applied. For example, Stunveigryôrth was 3x as likely to spawn in a province adjacent a gladeway so I’ve designated Kikkimig Outlet as its spawn location (as it is adjacent a gladeway).

I’ve tried to keep them spread out and balanced but I’ll start a discussion thread below if anyone wants to make an argument for why a certain Dungeon should be located in a different province for lore/balance/gameplay reasons.

Compatibility & Technical Details

This mod works by editing 2 base Anbennar files:
DiggyDiggyDungeons.txt
DiggyDiggyExpeditions.txt
Any mod also altering these files will cause errors!

Whether a dungeon spawns in a province is set by a hidden event (diggy_dungeons.0) which fires after an expedition completes in a province. This mod sets it so the event always chooses to make a dungeon if the province in question is one of the above – and never if not. A second hidden event (diggy_dungeons.1) then fires to select which dungeon to spawn and again the weights have been altered to ensure only the correct dungeon spawns in the province.

The expedition setup event (diggy_expedition.0) has also been altered to ensure an ‘expedition target’ always spawns in each of these provinces at game start.

For this reason this mod cannot be turned on mid-playthrough and must be activated at the start of a campaign.
