The Ashes Ignite – What if the World’s Economy Tumbled Down
Hello! Since I had no ideas, I took inspiration from the HOI4 mod known as The Fire Rises, so expect some stuff.

After the 2021 Febuary Patriot Front coup, Democrats and Republicand began to form militias nationwide over the United States This caused for the "President" to attempt to terminate the militias, leading to intense, fierce, standoffs. In mid 2022, the United States of America declared war on Mexico. While the campaign against Mexico was in full steam, radical liberals took up arms in rural places including the Applachians aswell as the heavily-liberalized Eastern Seaboard. Dixiecrats, carrying the legacy of Strom Thurmond, revolted in small cities like Athens and Tuscaloosa. Californian and Cascadian seseccionists took this as an opportunity and declared independence themselves. Mormons began to revolt, which is also ongoing.This resulted in the second depression worldwide, due to the death of Wall Street. The world’s global economy tumbled down, and prices skyrocketed. Russia, holding an elecion in late 2022, paved the way for a communist win in Russia.

With the communists winning in Russia, NATO in Europe was left on it’s own. This resulted for the Europeaan Union to formally take over Brussels, forcing Belgium to give them a new capital, which undeniably stoked nationalism. As the Soviet hardliners took place, Stalinism was back in the Russian SFSR. This resulted in an invasion of Europe. (which on th map you can see is a European loss) leading to widespread disasters and less poliical structure across Europe.
