Orso’s Masterpiece
250 hours since Early Alpha led me to completing this prison, my "final" jewel for the current version of the game.
It is a pod-based prison, featuring 11 non-communicating pods of prisoners that should not mix in any way, resulting in the following capacity configuration:
– 600 MaxSec prisoners in 4 pods of 150 each
– 400 MedSec prisoners in 4 pods of 100 each
– 50 Protected prisoners in 1 pod
– 4 Death Row Prisoners
– 46 Cells for use for MaxSec prisoners (6 of these have been zoned "Minimum Security" for reasons listed below)
Some highlights:
– 8-9% reoffend rate
– 120 prisoners in workshops for 8 hours daily (MedSec only) – cash flow between 50-60k
– Extensive SuperMax wing (40 cells) available for Permanent Lockdown of Legendaries or other high-level inmates
– A section of SuperMax (zoned as Minimum Security as a workaround) is available for Gang Leaders and other special inmates. This section allows for a basically normal schedule to be followed (Lockup/Yard/Eat). This results in a) gang leaders being separated from the prison population meaning that Gangs are ineffective but also b) prevents rioting instigated by permanent lockdown of said gang members
