-50% Campaign Army Movement (AI+Player)
– Reduced all army movement ranges on the campaign map by ~50%
– Army stance penalties have been halved for all factions accordingly
– Khorne bloodletting decay has been changed from 2 turns -> 4 turns to balance the lower movement range
– Agent movement is unaffected
My idea was to slow the pace of the game a bit, giving the player and the AI more time to react to incoming threats and to generally reduce settlement-to-settlement snowballing.
Notes:
– Army line-of-sight is partially based on max-movement points, so this is also reduced here
– Not ‘balanced’; there are many lords who do not get a guaranteed settlement on the first turn (e.g. Karl Franz)
– It is not exactly a 50% reduction due to internal behaviour of movement calculations for lords
! When adding this to an ongoing campaign, you need to play one turn in order for the changes to fake full effect.
