– Collapse of The Reich
The Reich had always been a hotbed for political rivalries, Hitler, since the end of the Dunkirk War, had grown paranoid with even his closet generals calling him a ‘mad man on a throne of lies’. During Hitler’s final years of life, he knew he would need a successor to continue the Reich, Hitler would address the Reich in his final speech, as he was about to utter his final words to announce his successor to the nation, and the crowd’s cheer about to erupt, a distant crack would whiz through the air striking the Führer in the side of the head. The crowd would burst into panic as Hitler fell to the floor. After Hitler’s assassination several camps would form, along with the collapse of the German East, Himmler with the SS would attempt to storm Berlin but fail after a short but impactful battle against entrenched Republicans and Social Democrats. Heydrich would flee to Silesia, where he would spark his own uprising, whist the south broke away as a democratic regime formed, Monarchists would break away as the Prussian state, hoping to restore the Kaiser, and France moved into the Rhineland, securing their own regime in the region.

After the Legionaries would be successful in their offensive into Kansas, The Republic of Alexander declaring Independence in Alaska, and the Constitutional States of America pushing further south, the nail in the coffin would be a military coup in Washington with Douglas MacArthur being appointed Chief of State, dozens of groups across the states would announce their own uprisings, the people had enough of the government’s complete failure to stop the revolutions. It would start with Alta California, then the United Pacific States, then the United Socialist States. Slowly, the United States would cease to be a country. And all government officials still alive fled, away to an unknown fate.

Decades after the Great London Crash, Britain had a choice, either attempt to reclaim an already fallen empire, or embrace change, and allow for colonies to choose their own path. So the Isles, over the course of a decade, would grant all of their African and Middle Eastern colonies freedom, though still turning a blind eye to India. Though in Paris, freedom, would have to be fought for. The French were not willing to give up their empire, in fact, they sought to integrate their colonies into France proper, this coupled with the economic mismanagement in Africa, and a rebellion in Vietnam already being fought, the seeds of revolution would be sowed. The final straw would come with the deployment of French troops into Africa, nearly overnight, French Africa would implode in a series of tribes civil wars, and breakaway states with few remnants of French authority in Africa still left to pick up the pieces.
