GE C40-8
EDIT 1/31/2021: I’ve decided to update the model with a new look, being built from the ground up again. With a interior, slight better detail and thinner handrails. Anyone who’s worked on a livery for this model, please redo it since the UV is new.
EDIT 9/10/2021: Similar to the C40-8W and C40-8M, i updated the model with side-panels and fixed fuel tank and some UV issues fixed.
EDIT 12/24/2022: Updated the model with new tooling. Credit to ABStudios for the base, and Eden for the standard cab!
Originally made these in February 2020, and didn’t finished these till Mid-May. These were first released on the Rolling Line Discord Server, but with the QuickMod Workshop update out, i’ll be posting a small amount of my QuickMods on here, specifically my first few QuickMods. So Enjoy what was my first QuickMod made for the community.
In this pack includes 8 liveries that represent the various companies that owned this locomotive in their heydays to today.
The GE C40-8 is a dying breed of locomotives in North America, with Canadian National being the last Class I to own these Standard Cab legends in service, but their slowly being phased out in the face of Modern emission locomotives. But now they can live a lifetime in Rolling Line, perfectly recreated in Rolling Line, ready to hit the rails!
