Badlands (Mesa) – Minecraft
Badlands? I think you mean Bestlands!
This is the first stage in The New World Remake Project, an ambitious effort to remake every biome from LEGO New World, which can be found here for those interested! If you want to know more about the project, check out the collection here!
One of Minecraft’s most popular biomes, the Badlands joins Rivals in …3D? Originally known as the Mesa biome before 1.13 Update Aquatic, the Badlands are a stunning sight and rich in resources. Climb towering spires known as "Hoodoos", explore surface level mineshafts, and befriend the local armadillos! What’s not to love?
Basic Mode features an asymmetrical three platform layout as the sun sets in the background, while Aether Mode is cast in red as night is near! It also adds an extra platform in the form of a tree from a Wooded Badlands. Both modes also feature an armadillo hanging out in the background! Seems like he scares easy though…
The Badlands feature 6 different songs from Minecraft itself, legacy console mini-games, and even a Smash remix; all picked to fit the vibe of the stage! What’s your favorite?
Tired of randomization and want to select the song yourself? Hold shield/parry and a direction on either stick or the keyboard during the match countdown! The available options are as follows: (UP: 1, RIGHT: 2, DOWN: 3, LEFT: 6)

Both modes’ times are based directly on specific times from Minecraft itself, check them out using the following commands!
Basic – /time set 12300
Aether – /time set 13500
