Resistance Warfare Ranks WOTC
This mod changes the default ranks in War of the Chosen to more reflect a future resistance movement. You can use my ranks or set your own using this mod.
Consider my ranks an alternative to being a paramilitary force. Now you can send in a squad of Resistance Commandos to torch the area or have a Hero lead your team to glory.
Ranks are now:
Rookie
Fighter – (formerly Squaddie)
Shocktrooper – (formerly Corporal)
Veteran – (formerly Sergeant)
Operator – (formerly Lieutenant)
Commando – (formerly Captain)
Elite – (formerly Major)
Hero – (formerly Colonel)
Legend – (formerly Brigadier)

This lightweight mod only affects the XComGame.int file – section: [X2ExperienceConfig]
Works correctly with ‘A Better Barracks’ by DerBK

How to change the Ranks to anything using this mod
To set your own rank titles, navigate to this mods install folder within your Steam directory:
Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent2685001123970618Localization
Open the XcomGame.int file with Notepad and change the titles as you wish. Make sure you keep the quotation marks. Save & close.
The mod has a light one-time script which will apply your new Rank names when loading the game.
