Craft fire axe heads
42.1.1 added the ability to assemble and disassemble fire axes and the fire axe head item. However, it did not add a recipe to be able to craft them. This mod simply adds a recipe to allow firefighter axe heads to be crafted. Since there is no magazine associated with this recipe, it is known from the start. It requires 8 metalworking and an advanced forge, which is on par with other ‘end game’ weapon craftables. It requires the same materials and tools as the metal wood axe and pick axe recipes.
The fire axe head is currently bugged so that it won’t show condition or sharpness. This is not unique to my mod, it’s a bug with the item itself and this mod does not fix it. The axe heads will be fully blunt after being crafted but can be sharpened to full sharpness with a grindstone or whetstone. I’m not entirely sure if this is intended or not, some sharp items are set to be crafted dull and some are not.
