Community Voted Subdivision (2025)
Hey y’all- I am sure some of you probably remember me from the last few times I did this a while ago. I saw the new game updates and, with the New Year, I wanted to reboot it!
I just took the “World Map (Large)” scenario in the game and added all inhabited overseas territories as puppet states of their current rulers, as well as the Vatican City and other microstates not in the default map. (It is just my “World as it is (End of 2024 Map)
I also added Somaliland, an unrecognized nation that is honestly more of a nation than Somalia itself.
Geographically, I added the North Pole and Antarctica, both as tundra geography and without rulers at the start of the game.
I also made all water transversable.
As for request requirements:
The PRIMARY rule is that your request CANNOT fully replace anyone else’s previous request
-Eg. If someone had already requested that NYC be free, you could still request Brooklyn to be free (as it is not the “capital/base” of NYC, but you could NOT request Manhattan be free (as it is the “Capital” of NYC and cannot be replaced)
You may request any of the following:
Any and all country subdivision types
-States
-Regions
-Counties
-Territories
-Cities/Towns
-Cultural/Religious/Ethnic Divides
Fictional Places with SET BOUNDARIES that do not cancel out any other nation
-Eg. Camp Half Blood, Divergent Projects, Hogwarts have set geographical locations to tie to – They are allowed
-Eg. The Shire, Tatooine, etc. that do not exist on earth are NOT ALLOWED
-Eg. Panem, Divergent Locations, etc. are NOT ALLOWED as they mess with the core geography of the world

Historical places/regions that do not replace/cancel out existing nations/requests
-Eg. replacing Florida with the Spanish Florida Colonies would be allowed (as it does not interfere with any current nations), but the HRE would not be, as it would delete nation(s) that exist today
Any other Geographical request
-If you have a request that does not fit into one of these categories, make it anyways! The worst I can say is no! So please!
Scenario Requests
-You may make scenario requests (conflict, war, puppet state, etc.) so long as it does not interfere with other requests and does not cancel out current sovereignty
The ONLY other thing I ask is that you limit your requests to one-per-comment (you may leave as many comments as you’d like) – I have done this before and people would say “Balkanize the Balkans”. That is simply too much work for a single request, This will just help me to keep requests organized so that I am able to get to them all 🙂
