Initially named Beholder, this space gunship was designed to look like the creature that gave it its name, and its visage was meant to be a tool of intimidation. Its counter-rotating magnetic rings generate a prototypical energy shield (a new tech at the time) and allow for sustained flight in atmospheres. The ship was deployed to the Metalburg Asteroid Mines to replace the Advent in its guarding role, but it didn’t intimidate as much as planned. It turns out it looked more like a burger than a Beholder, and was mockingly dubbed "Astroburger." Most of the International Coalition found the "meaty" ship funny, but some of the particularly vegan ones took offense. It was the last straw for them. And finally, they declared war on Metalburg.
