The first craft of the Monarch company, patrol ship Y-2 "Blackhammer" is designed to destroy medium-sized ships and protect industrial facilities during the first stages of the campaign. Good hull armor, LAMD, the presence of countermeasures against missiles, torpedoes and laser weapons will allow you to emerge victorious from a battle with piracy forces, but low speed and high fuel/ammunition consumption do not allow you to effectively use it in long-range combat missions away from supply lines.
The experience and technical solutions used on the Y-2 were later applied to create a much more advanced S-2 and S-20, so now the Y-2 is more of a museum exhibit than a combat unit.
However, the units still in service received an up-to-date modernization package.
