Left 4 Dead Whispering Oaks Pre-Infection
I thought it would be funny to hide these maps to see how people would react. It was funny. Anyway now they’re back.
The fairgrounds, coaster, barns and concert from the Left 4 Dead 2 campaign "Dark Carnival" combined into one map and cleaned to look like how it did before the infection.
Left 4 Dead 2 shouldn’t be required for this but don’t quote me on that.
The coaster’s support beams don’t have collision as the model that makes it up it also doesn’t and the brushes used in the Valve map exceed the limit of brushes allowed in the engine.
A navmesh and AI nodes are included.
To fix white reflections do "mat_specular 0" in the console (thanks to the people in the comments).
To fix the skybox being an error make sure HDR is enabled, they don’t work otherwise.
The map is called "gm_whispering_oaks_preinf" in the files.
