Zero’s Behavior Patches
A script that fixes a lot of things I have personally found to be very annoying.
Bug fixes
- Smokers no longer instant grab survivors if they are standing on physics props.
- Special infected will no longer scratch while staggering
- Chargers now stagger properly after charging into a wall rather than always staggering towards the world origin
- Special infected can no longer entirely cancel staggers by falling off ledges
- Shoving common infected now ensures they get staggered when possible
- Attempting to stagger a common who is crouching will kill them. This is a partial "fix" for an issue I will continue looking into.
Tweaks
- Charger bots no longer have 66% damage reduction when charging
- Hunter bots now use z_pounce_damage_interrupt when pouncing
- Tank rocks now have a marginally smaller radius for hurting players
- Tank rocks now have a bigger bounding box, allowing them to be shot easier and have more reasonable collisions with the environment
- Minor adjustments to common infected physics
- nb_update_frequency is 0.066
- nb_update_framelimit is 30
- z_push_force is now 500 to compensate for the increased update frequency and framelimit
