Mod Overview

Many players find the late game too easy and repetitive, which can make the game feel boring. To increase replayability and challenge, I created this mod with the following features:

Features

  • Quick Recovery for Released Enemy Lords:
    Released enemy lords quickly recover their troops and receive extra money. This feature can be configured in the MCM menu. You can set the recovery to affect only high-tier units, significantly boosting the strength of enemy elite forces. Recovery range can be set from 0% to 100%.
  • Increasing Enemy Army Size:
    Every time the player kills a certain number of enemies (configurable in MCM), the enemy army size limit increases. The more enemies you kill, the larger the armies become, with massive battles often occurring as the player progresses.
  • Additional Health for Heroes and Soldiers:
    Heroes gain 10 extra health points per level by default, and soldiers gain 5 extra health points per level. Both of these can be adjusted in the MCM menu.
  • Enemy and Player Gear Matching:
    The mod allows the enemy and player to have the same equipment, reducing difficulty in the early game and increasing it in the late game.
  • Enhanced Enemy Lord Skills:
    Enemy lords will now have enhanced skills to make them more challenging.

Update Log

December 28 Update
  • Fixed an issue where skill experience would not increase.
  • Changed the "Only Advanced Units" option to allow setting the minimum tier for generated soldiers.
  • Added an option to disable the hero health bonus in the arena.
  • Modified the troop size increase from kills—now it’s based on the number of enemy troops defeated. This can be flexibly configured.
  • Fixed some popup errors.

September 12 Update
  • Added troop recovery ratio settings for Infantry, Archers, Cavalry, and Horse Archers.
  • Added the option to disable the troop limit increase for the player’s army.

August 12 Update
  • Changed enemy hero skills to grant experience, and all skills can be configured.
  • Reset the MCM menu layout for improved usability.
