Working Bookshelves – by Domchu
Update – Friday 13th December 2019:
This Mod has been around for many years now. Since the "the slammer" update the bookshelves decrease the literacy need a bit by base game, making this mod somewhat obsolet. I want to thank everyone giving feedback and using it for such a long time!
From now on, no more updates to this mod will be done.

A simple mod that makes the Bookshelves work again!
For a long time the bookshelves were just a cosmetic object due to a bug.
This mod gives them a purpose again so they are not only raising the value of a cell.
When this mod is activated bookshelves get the following features:
– Spirituality need can be decreased by reading religious texts.
– Literacy need gets reduced for obvious reasons.

In the near (or maybe far) future the following features are planed:
– Bookshelves have to be filled with books first before they can be used.
– Prisoners use the books so they have to sorted again after reading.
