Let’s repeat the intro from the XCom2+LW2 version.. just for clarity!
This project was just some HUD enhancement dream(s) for awhile and nearly as much, also UC script encoding nightmare(s). Then.. during (last year) a wildly coincidental chat with ObelixDK — now..CX community C.E.O!), i recalled how the LW-Pedia_DB Mod (For XC1-EU/EW) concept was handled to try limiting any cumbersome development mechanics; by exploiting (if & when possible) the Localization files HTML formatting features.
What follows are the results… still in bits, parts & pieces and yet — now yours!
PS; The reasoning behind this HUD enhancement is extremely simple; modular QoL device(s) that makes it easy to detect almost anything while offering some "cool" visual assets.
This will show up in your Launcher of choice but must be used ONLY within War of The Chosen gameplay… then, Click the box & off you go.
1) Please, let me know if you find anything wrong. But the XC2 version helped in ironing out the principal "flaws".
2) Share your thoughts, observations, remarks. I might just consider or prioritize any of them, eventually.
— Create new POI symbols,
— Add custom GuerillaOps splashers by replacing the common black Advent Trooper,
— Insert somewhat bigger and more colorfull XCom Logos (as seen in the Vanilla version) when Chosen lose control of Regions,
— I’ll think of something else!!
